• Based in Northampton

• Monday – Friday – 6.30am to 3.30pm

We at Urus Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Operative to work within a manufacturing company based in Northampton.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking products for wrapping and dispatch
• Preparing items for shipment by verifying order accuracy.
• Packing heavy products securely and safely.
• Assisting with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and organizing the warehouse.
• Inspecting products for quality to meet company standards.
• Coordinating with the Dispatch manager for timely dispatch, preparing and labelling packages.
• Maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations by using PPE and following safe practices.
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized, assisting with general workshop duties.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and supporting other areas as needed.
• Participating in training and providing feedback for process improvements.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• The successful individual will be hands-on and able to work in a heavy fast-paced environment
