Urus Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer looking to work on CHP and gas engine systems.

The Role – Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out service, maintenance and repair as a Field Service Engineer

  • Work on CHP and gas engines as a Field Service Engineer

  • Attend breakdowns and carry out fault finding as a Field Service Engineer

  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as a Field Service Engineer

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults as a Field Service Engineer

  • Travel to client sites across the South West as a Field Service Engineer

  • Manage your own workload and complete reports as a Field Service Engineer

Requirements – Field Service Engineer
To be successful as a Field Service Engineer, you should have:

  • Experience working as a Field Service Engineer or similar

  • Strong mechanical engineering background (ideal for a Field Service Engineer)

  • Experience with engines, generators or power generation equipment

  • Fault-finding experience as a Field Service Engineer

  • Basic electrical knowledge (desirable for a Field Service Engineer role)

  • Full UK driving licence
